Overview

Founded in Petah Tikva, Israel, and led by co-founder and CEO Pini Mandel,
Quicklizard was built around a conviction that traditional pricing — spreadsheets, gut instinct, disconnected tools — was leaving enormous value on the table for retailers and brands. The company developed a cloud-based, 100% open platform powered by AI and machine learning, enabling businesses to deploy sophisticated pricing strategies across their full catalog and all sales channels simultaneously. From Key Value Item identification and price elasticity modeling to competitor intelligence and demand forecasting, Quicklizard gives pricing teams the analytical depth and operational speed that modern retail demands. The platform's flexibility — including full Python customization and broad ERP and e-commerce integrations — made it a genuine enterprise-grade solution trusted by some of the world's most recognized retail brands, including Sephora, John Lewis & Partners, Intersport, and Thalia.

Traction & Customers

We engaged with the Quicklizard team at a moment when the business had turned a meaningful corner. Despite a challenging early chapter as a publicly listed company on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the team had steadily built a platform and customer base that spoke for itself — strong retention, expanding enterprise relationships, and growing momentum in a market increasingly hungry for AI-driven solutions. The quality of the customer logos and the depth of those relationships made clear that this was not a platform customers merely used — it was one they relied on. The trajectory of the business in the periods leading up to our process was a direct reflection of that underlying strength.

Process & Results

We worked closely with Quicklizard's leadership to position the company for the right transaction — one that would not only deliver a strong outcome for shareholders, but unlock the next phase of the company's growth. We introduced the opportunity to a targeted set of growth-oriented private equity investors who understood the retail technology landscape and could appreciate the platform's global potential. The process generated strong competitive interest, and the premium achieved reflected both the quality of the business and the conviction of the winning bidder. Quicklizard ultimately closed a majority acquisition by Riverwood Capital, a leading US growth equity firm, marking a transformative milestone for the company, its team, and its shareholders — and positioning the business for accelerated international expansion as a fully private enterprise.

We partnered with the company for six months to prepare for an investment process. We then introduced the opportunity to dozens of growth equity investors.
After strong engagement, Trustifi received a few term sheets, ultimately Camber was the chose partner.
