Trustifi is an end-to-end email security and compliance SaaS platform
that protects businesses from inbound threats, outbound exposure,
and account compromise — built for MSSPs and SME clients.

Overview

Trustifi was founded in 2017 with a mass emailing product operating
outside the SaaS model. In 2021, management recognized a far larger opportunity and led a strategic pivot that fundamentally transformed the business — repositioning Trustifi as a comprehensive, enterprise-grade email security platform. The result was a purpose-built solution for the MSSP and SME market, spanning inbound and outbound threat protection, account takeover defense, email data
loss prevention and recovery (EMDR), security awareness training, and advanced
indexing and archiving. In an increasingly crowded cybersecurity landscape,
Trustifi differentiated itself through product depth, ease of deployment,
and a channel-first go-to-market model that resonated strongly with
managed service providers.

We first engaged with the Trustifi team in early 2024, when the business was already showing clear signs of durable, compounding growth. What stood out immediately was the quality of the customer relationships — strong retention, a loyal MSSP channel, and a pipeline that reflected genuine word-of-mouth momentum rather than forced acquisition. In the months that followed, the company continued to execute with conviction, accelerating its growth trajectory and crossing meaningful ARR milestones. The numbers confirmed what we already believed from our conversations with the team: this was a business built to last.

Process & Results

We partnered closely with Trustifi's leadership to prepare the company for a growth equity process. That meant sharpening the investment narrative, stress-testing the business model, and ensuring the right investors — those who understood both the email security market and the MSSP channel dynamic — were in the room. We introduced the opportunity to a few growth equity firms and generated strong engagement throughout. Multiple term sheets followed. Trustifi ultimately selected Camber as its majority investment partner, a decision that reflected strategic alignment and shared ambition for what the company can become.

We partnered with the company for six months to prepare for an investment process. We then introduced the opportunity to dozens of growth equity investors.
After strong engagement, Trustifi received a few term sheets, ultimately Camber was the chose partner.
